A sweet teaching experience today:
While my student teacher taught my 9th grade classes today, I got to hold one-on-one conferences with my students regarding their grades and their research papers
After discussing my student's research paper with him, he reached down, gave me a side hug and said, "Ms. Baer, you're a great teacher."
The way he said it and the moment was just perfect. My heart melted.
One of my co-workers, who was sitting close by, said, "Baer, those are the moments you hold onto..."
And yes, I'll hold onto that one.

- I am a jack-of-all trades kind of gal that is really into teaching. I am a BYU grad, a former resident of DC, and a current middle school teacher in the great state of Utah. I enjoy laughter, traveling, reading sappy books and later watching them on the hallmark channel, analyzing the Gospel (and analyzing the single scene), playing ultimate, starting dance parties, and spending time with dear friends. If you want to get to know me really well, hang out with (or date) me in person...but this will do for now.
